my two princesses are one year older than last year but they like to play masak-masak as usual. Girls are always girls. Pretending being "mummy" cooking. This time using all my pots and pans. Their plastercine as the raw material and their talcum powder as the spices. Once finished playing they will let the pots and pans laying around for their ayah to tidy up the house. As I am always the first to go out in the morning. Sending kakak to school and adik sometimes to nursery when she wakes up early. It's different now since it's school hol. Their activities are mostly involving frinds in the nursery.
Jeff wants adik to sign up for her first class next year. Know what her principle said? "She is already attending play school. I don't think we should force her. She can't wake up early and sometimes she will only wake up at 12 pm. I will put her as a reserve. If she can wake up early next year, I will sign her up in my class." So we decided to wait until next year then.
This year kakak has done quite well in school. She came up 2nd but her school is special in a way. All students who got 5As and 4As in their final exam will be given a cert and trophy for doing well in school. The school policy is good in such a way they encouraged students not to go for placing in class. They are just equal. Parents need to accompany their children up the stage. I got to go up the stage with her. When her headmistress and PTE President congratulate me and felt my tears rolling in my eyes. I felt proud and I felt I need to do more for the years to come for her. Once down the stage I shed my tears as I had not done much this year. Her Arabic needs improvement and she got less than 50 pct. Thinking of taking Arabic to teach her myself but now i myself don't have much time for her. Now looking for other option.
