KMU

It reminds me of the group formed in Nov 2000 to fight Anwar Ibrahim's reformasi movement in the net. It was then called Kelab Maya Umno.


They were vocal then not only against the reformasi movement but also govt policies which they deemed not in the best interest of the people, particularly the Malays which included the introduction of meritocracy in public university intake and English as medium of instruction in teaching Science and Math in school.

Dr M did not try to disband the group but had embraced them with open arms. They were even allowed to operate at Menara Dato Onn and during Umno general assemblies they were given a spot at PWTC .

After Pak Lah's takeover, the group had been thrashed into the dumpster by the new admin and they, of course, retaliated. Since then, Kelab Maya Umno, became mere KMU.

toNow, KMU is known just as pro-Dr M, anti-Pak Lah and anti- Anwar Ibrahim.
